"Tea Berry Lemonade... is as delicious and good as it is homemade."
Ingredients:
6 c - Brewed Tea, steeped from a French Press.
1 c - Ea. fresh-frozen: blue berries
cranberries
strawberries
raspberries
16 - Lemons to juice, squeezed
6 - Calamansi or agri-dulce or lime rounds
3/8 c - Honey
3/4 c - White granulated sugar
Serving preparation:
Brew tea in a French press apparatus adding the loose tea leaves and pouring in the hot boiling water to filter and extract the tea to steep. Use the equivalent of 12 tea bags or as instructed in the tin to make 6 strong cups of tea.
Take the frozen berries and mix thoroughly and add in as a slosh or base. Scoop out a portion for ea. of 8 glasses to slosh.
Squeeze the lemons and calamansi juice and mix in thoroughly.
Sweeten finally with honey to dissolve and granulated sugar.
Serving suggestion: Ice-cold like iced tea by placing in the fridge for 2 hours or overnite and serve in iced tall glasses with mint leaves to trim as refreshment with your favourite ginger, white choco-sugar and fudge brownie cookies from the cookie jar.
