Ingredients:
Epanade or Seafood Dipping Sauce or Paste: (Taken from: https://www.epicurious.com.)
3 cups from concentrated chicken bullion added hot
1 cup Heinz (Procter & Gamble) brand ketchup
4 tablespoons Yeoh Hup Seng brand chili garlic sauce
4 tablespoons rice vinegar
4 tablespoons rice wine
4 tablespoons sugar
Crab meat (tinned)
Shrimp meat (tinned)
Aquamar surimi (seafood fish flavoured crab) (optional: available at Safeway Canada)
Optional dipping sauce for snack or dessert: Philippine Coco Honey (sweet like honey)
Snack Bites for Dipping: boil for 35-40 mins until soft and cut and peel.
- Cassava bites
- Purple yam bites
- Yellow yam bites
- Gabi bites (NB: gummy in texture but flavourful) (from the Filipino aquatic tuber or yam)
